Hare was right behind with four goals. Despaigne, Scoffield and Paul Spooner each scored twice. Cameron Hexter’s single meant that every Jets field player got on the board during the weekend.
Day 3 wound up as the gold medal game as the 3-0 Jets took on the 2-1 Ottawa Titans 1. The game was a physical battle and the Titans took the opening quarter 2-1. The Jets fought back in the second period to take a 5-4 lead into halftime. The lead was extended by one to 7-5 heading into the fourth quarter where the Jets won 3-1 to take the contest 10-6 and win the gold medal.
