CALIFORNIA NCAA SCHEDULE SET FOR SENIOR WOMEN

The gruelling 12-games-in-9-days NCAA competition tour in southern California has now been finalized for the Toronto Golden Jets senior women.

Day 1 will be a doubleheader on short rest between games. First up will be host Cal Lutheran (Division 3 #3) followed two hours later by a tilt against Concordia Irvine University (Division 2) at the same pool.

It will be another doubleheader on Day 2 but this time the games will be in the schools' home pools.  First up will be Cal Baptist (Division 1 #25) in Riverside. Then the team will jump in the vans and drive an hour up to Los Angeles to play OccidentaL College (Division 3 #9).

The first 5-game segment will wrap up on Day 3 in Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University (Division 1 #14) before the team enjoys a day and a half off.

The middle section of three games begins on Day 5 with a single match at Long Beach State University (Division 1 #9). The next day, the Jets will play another doubleheader beginning at Cal State Fullerton (Division 1) and concluding in the evening at Chapman University (Division 3 #4).

After a day off, the Jets will conclude the tour with a pair of doubleheaders at the Tina Final tournament hosted by Cal Lutheran.

On Day 8, the opponents will be UC Merced (Division 2) and Whittier College (Division 3 #10). On the final day before flying home to Toronto, the Golden Jets will conclude the tour with games against Ottawa Arizona University (NAIA) and finally a rematch with Cal Lutheran.

Twenty one Jets players will travel with all being current UofToronto students. Evan Price will be the Head Coach. He will be supported by a pair of double Olympians, Paul Pottier and George Gross, Jr.
