2023-24 TORONTO GOLDEN JETS – REGISTRATION & TRYOUT INFORMATION
The Toronto Golden Jets water polo club is very happy that you are interested in becoming a member. Water Polo is a great team sport that has been researched to be the second most beneficial all-round conditioning sport. You can also play the sport into your 70s!
The registration process which used to be done directly through a link to the national federation is changing back to a Provincial-led process that is done directly by the club but links back into the National database. The link to register is: http://TorontoWPC.rampregistrations.com/participant
In order to get ahead and be more organized during the first week, we ask that you forward the potential member’s full name and date of birth to club president, Jacqui Romandel, via email: romandel@sympatico.ca AND also indicate whether the potential member is a returning or new member.
All players are assigned to a specific training group. While our club places one coach that is generally responsible for an age group range, we also provide multiple coaches to all age groups giving the developing players different perspectives on the game of water polo while using coaches’ strengths across all age groups.
This year, practices and tryouts begin Sunday, September 10 at UofT at 5pm. Also, Tuesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 14 at 8pm at Central Tech High School and and Sunday, September 17 at UofT at 5pm.
Once the tryout week is over, a regular practice schedule including early Saturday afternoons will be established.
There is no cost to try out practices for one week.
